The Old Market Store

Located at the top of Fair Meadow, the Old Market Store is a historic building that Redruth Revival is working to bring back into sustainable public use. The building, visible on maps as early as 1877 and part of Redruth’s historic market complex, is currently in a vulnerable condition.

Redruth Revival has secured funds from the Architectural Heritage Fund through the Heritage Development Trust programme to progress detailed plans for the building’s future. The funding supports essential professional work, including surveys, design development and planning preparation needed to unlock the site’s long-term potential, to progress plans to RIBA Stage 3.

Our ambition is to breathe new life into the Old Market Store as part of the wider Fair Meadow regeneration, ensuring this historic structure once again contributes to the economic, cultural and community life of Redruth.
