Volunteers help in many ways, and the time you give can vary. People give as much time as they can, some a lot, some less. It doesn’t matter; we’re grateful for every contribution.

Volunteers help in many ways, and the time you give can vary. Here are some examples:
Supporting the monthly markets (every first Saturday of the month)Setting up the gazebos from 8 am & taking down stalls & gazebos at 2 pm
Baking cakes to sell on our stall
Manning the stall from 10am to 2pm
Growing or donating plants and garden produce for sale
Weeding & tidying up
Fair Meadow carpark: 3 to 4 times a year, weekday afternoons, 2–3 hours
Buttermarket: helping keep the courtyard & supporting events
Working with your skills
Many volunteers offer skills, like DIY repairs, costumes, running secondary market stalls
Seasonal decoration
Heritage research
Working in partnership with Kresen Kernow with funded projects, like the Buttermarket, to gather heritage research and historical content
We also usually have at least one social event each year for volunteers to relax and celebrate together. You can help as much or as little as you like - every contribution is appreciated!
