Meet Redruth Revival CIC

Redruth Revival CIC was established in spring 2014, following Judy Davidson MBE, former Mayor of Redruth, who had been bringing together a group of committed and successful local business people since 2012.

Their ambition was simple but powerful: to help create a thriving 21st-century town centre that would breathe new life into Redruth while celebrating and protecting its unique heritage.

The development of the Old Brewery site into Kresen Kernow, home to Cornwall's archives, provided the catalyst for action. Recognising the opportunity this investment would bring to the town, Redruth Revival was established to increase footfall, attract investment, and focus energy on the regeneration of Redruth town centre.

Since then, our volunteer Directors have provided strategic leadership, helping to guide projects, secure investment, restore historic buildings, support local enterprise, and strengthen Redruth's economic and cultural future.

As a Community Interest Company, all Directors freely volunteer their time, expertise and commitment. Any surplus generated through our activities is reinvested directly into Redruth and the projects that support its long-term regeneration.

The success of Redruth Revival has always depended on the dedication of a much wider team.

Over the years, our projects have been supported by an incredible network of volunteers whose passion, local knowledge and commitment have helped shape the organisation and its impact across the town.

As Redruth Revival has grown, so too has our capacity. Today, a small and dedicated staff team works alongside our Directors and volunteers to develop, deliver and expand projects that benefit Redruth and its communities.

Together, we share a common goal: helping Redruth thrive through heritage, enterprise and community-led regeneration.
