Redruth Revival is seeking two new Directors to join our Board at a pivotal moment in our development. Following the successful transformation of the Buttermarket, we are now planning our next phase of heritage‑led regeneration and want to bring in fresh perspectives, new skills, and lived experience to help guide our future direction. 

We’re looking for people who can think strategically, contribute constructively, and share our commitment to Redruth and its community. You don’t need previous board experience; what matters most is your enthusiasm, insight, and willingness to play an active role in shaping positive change. 

If you’re excited by possibility, motivated by community impact, have a can-do attitude and are keen to champion Redruth and support the town’s regeneration, we’d love to hear from you. 

The Role

As a Director of Redruth Revival, you will:  

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation.   

  • Provide oversight and governance.   

  • Support the organisation’s long-term sustainability.   

  • Champion Redruth  

  • Act as an ambassador for Redruth Revival.   

Behind the Scenes at the Buttermarket

Join us for a ‘Behind the Scenes at the Buttermarket’ event on Monday 14th September, 6pm–7.30pm, held in our beautifully restored food hall. 

This relaxed, informal evening which will include a short, guided tour of the Buttermarket, offering a glimpse into the story behind its regeneration and the work that brought the project to life. You’ll meet members of the Redruth Revival Board and team, hear about our future plans, and have the chance to ask questions over drinks and a buffet. 

Whether you’re considering applying or simply curious about our work, this is a friendly and welcoming way to learn more about Redruth Revival and the role of a Director.

Having met with staff and Directors at the Behind the Scenes event, if you want to be considered for one of the positions, then please share: 

  • a short note telling us what motivates you to join the Board 

  • a CV or a concise summary of your experience and strengths

Applications will be accepted following the event from Tuesday 15th September and close on Monday 28th September.
